This workshop is designed to encourage an interest in creative writing, history and geography. The students become pirates from different ages and a variety of different lands, from Ancient Greeks to modern day video pirates.

Pupils are taken on an historical and geographical journey from the North Sea, through the Atlantic, to the Mediterranean and Aegean seas on to the Caribbean and China Seas

Famous and infamous pirates like Raleigh, Drake, Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, Mary Read, Mrs Cheng and the Corsair brothers are explored in this workshop.
